A: I wish to gain more performing experience and exposure.

A: About 14yrs old when I joined a school’s talent competition.

A: I saw an ad on Facebook and decided to send in my recording just to see where I stand.

Q: Do you think you have what it takes to win The Ultimate Voice?
A: I’m pretty shy when it comes to these kinda things but ultimately I hope the best voice wins so that Singapore will have yet another star!
Q: Do you join competitions regularly?
A: Nope! Except for this once when I designed a shirt for HDB and won $150. Haha!
Daryl Lai (Solo English)
Q: What made you join The Ultimate Voice 2013?
A: I wanted to challenge myself on a bigger platform and price money la!
Q: What is your occupation?
A: I am an Engineer.
Q: When did you find out that you had a talent in singing?
A: When I was 17, a bunch of friends strongly encouraged me to join some teachers day concert!

A: It’s been a while since I joined any competition. So the “want” to gauge my capabilities made me join!
Q: How did you get to know The Ultimate Voice?
A: Through friends on Social Media!

A: To establish myself as a professional singer and then become a vocal coach!

A: A friend of mine shared an advert of this competition and I tried out to see how it goes.
Q: When did you find out that you had a talent in singing?
A: I started singing for fun and I uploaded a video and my friends said I was good and requested for more. So I did!

A: I’d be shy at first but once the ice is broken, I guess I’m bubbly!

A: I believe in myself that anything is possible if you work hard and put in effort.

A: Christina Aguilera! She has inspired me that no matter how bad situations are, just believe and sing with your heart and soul.
