Recently, Mediacorp called us up to arrange auditions for the new reality singing competition - Live the Dream! They may do their shooting here at Hark if we've got some students or members who like to audition for this new competition.
Let you something in case you don't know, this competition can let you 'earn' alots man......
The SOLO Champion get $40K in cash....and the GROUP will get $60K in cash!!! Woah!!!!!!! You will be b*****y RICH if you win! (sorry for the word....I'm really sooo excited over the cash money...haha...me really 见钱眼开 orh.... :p )
But the sad thing is that.......you gotta be ABOVE 25 years old (mind you, that means it's not for young people like you and me...).....and gonna sing English songs(!!!??!!)....
AiYO~~~~ most of our students and members are more into Chinese Pop...and most of our students/instructors are still young leh (...ha.haha....).....hmmm.....how leh???
Eh~~~~
Eh~~~
Eh~~~
Anyway, if you guys hope to audition for this competition, and think you have the flair to take home the whole lot of CASH.....maybe you can email us, and we can gather all together, and probably hold the audition at the 'comfort of our own home'..RIGHT?? Whatcha think?
For more information, you guys can go to their website at http://www.livethedream.com.sg

" I was really excited when after months of procrastination, I finally signed up with Hark Music. And I am glad I did. Not only are the staff friendly, my vocal coach is also thorough and patient in her classes.I can go on and on but the bottom line goes:Here is what Quality is really about. I'm happy to be part of Hark Music and will never hesitate to bring my friends down!Thank you Hark music!!!!!! "

" Hark Music has really helped to broaden my music knowledge. I have taken almost every course available (Vocal, Keyboard and Guitar) and I can say that they have a very systematic way of teaching. The syllabus is very well-planned too! At the end of the course, one can definitely self-teach to further understand music. Afterall, learning is a life-long process! "
Joel Ong, Vocal, Pop Piano & Guitar Student
" I have been a part of Hark Music for the past four years. I must say that it has changed a lot in these four years. I remembered the first time I went to Hark Music they only occupied the second floor. There wasn't even a first floor! And performances are held on the second floor, so everytime students came for lesson when there are performances, they feel very paiseh for interrupting the performances. But that was in the past.Hark Music has grown a lot since then...expanded to two storeys...introduced a cafe...then took away the café and *tadah* transformed it to the performing studio you see now. Well, Hark Music has come a long way since it first started. They have a blog now, more opportunities for students to display and cultivate their musical talents, more rooms for more classes etc. Hark Music is a good learning ground especially for beginners with no musical background. I hope it will continue to expand and reach out to all music lovers."
