Wow..Wow...wow.....
We didn't realise there are so many students from Hark with sooo much potential! Judges had a rather tough time selecting... There are still an outstanding number of about 20+ students waiting to be auditioned on coming WED night.... 加油!加油!
We did realise a handful of students with some star quality...They just need more training to polish up, and of course, more stage exposures and confidence to bring themselves out more...... That's great news, ya know....plus, most of them have looks!! Wow..Wow..WOW....
*wink**wink!*
In total, there are about 140++ students auditioning. It's soo heart-warming to see soo many students, eager to take part in this event...Yeah~~~ this is a great training ground for all of you..
And now of course I gonna say this:
"Don't be disheartened if you did not get through the next round...and, don't get too confident if you got through the next round either..."
Take all performing opportunities as a process of learning. You may be able to sing well, and have a good voice..but you can't present yourself well in front of an audience, as you have 'zero' stage experience and stage confidence...
So, you just gonna work on this...
Accumulate as much performing opportunities as possible. Don't worry too much about not singing well in front of people....Having a good learning attitude will let you go far and in the shortest time to reach your goal.
Believe in yourselves ok, guys & gals??
In all, we have 140+ participants.
We are going to pick out 72 to go into the Preliminary Rounds.
From the Preliminary Rounds, we will pick out 36 for the QuarterFinals
From QuarterFinals, we will pick 18 for SemiFinals

" I was really excited when after months of procrastination, I finally signed up with Hark Music. And I am glad I did. Not only are the staff friendly, my vocal coach is also thorough and patient in her classes.I can go on and on but the bottom line goes:Here is what Quality is really about. I'm happy to be part of Hark Music and will never hesitate to bring my friends down!Thank you Hark music!!!!!! "

" Hark Music has really helped to broaden my music knowledge. I have taken almost every course available (Vocal, Keyboard and Guitar) and I can say that they have a very systematic way of teaching. The syllabus is very well-planned too! At the end of the course, one can definitely self-teach to further understand music. Afterall, learning is a life-long process! "
Joel Ong, Vocal, Pop Piano & Guitar Student
" I have been a part of Hark Music for the past four years. I must say that it has changed a lot in these four years. I remembered the first time I went to Hark Music they only occupied the second floor. There wasn't even a first floor! And performances are held on the second floor, so everytime students came for lesson when there are performances, they feel very paiseh for interrupting the performances. But that was in the past.Hark Music has grown a lot since then...expanded to two storeys...introduced a cafe...then took away the café and *tadah* transformed it to the performing studio you see now. Well, Hark Music has come a long way since it first started. They have a blog now, more opportunities for students to display and cultivate their musical talents, more rooms for more classes etc. Hark Music is a good learning ground especially for beginners with no musical background. I hope it will continue to expand and reach out to all music lovers."
