Hark Performing Team a.k.a. HPT, Batch 3 Audition (21 March 2009)
Here are some photo updates!
We had over 70 auditionees that day. I think it was a record number since the inception of our Hark Performing Team since 2007.
...and we are seeing more potentials too than the auditions before.
It's a good sign. *Thumbs up.*
There were 2 sessions of auditions, one at 3.30pm, another at 5pm.
Our Performing Studio were packed to the brim. Other than auditionees, there were supporters as well. We gave a pat to all the performers for the courage and effort put in. It was definitely nerve-wrecking for them in consideration with a presence of a big audience.
Well, of course, there were singers....
There were pianists....
...and guitarists!
Amidst all those nervous atmosphere, 2 of the participants candidly did this shot... I wonder if the expressions represented their emotions or they just did not want to reveal their faces to the camera.... Hmmmm.....
Most were earnestly listening to others' performances while....
... the judges noted the comments and made their selections.
And, finally our pioneer HPT members gave their full support for their 'juniors'!
In all, we look forward seeing the new HPT make their debut performance in May 2009!
Anyway, the results of the selection will be released in 2 weeks time.

Not only are the staff friendly, my vocal coach is also thorough and patient in her classes.I can go on and on but the bottom line goes:Here is what Quality is really about. " Hark Music has really helped to broaden my music knowledge. I have taken almost every course available (Vocal, Keyboard and Guitar) and I can say that they have a very systematic way of teaching. The syllabus is very well-planned too! At the end of the course, one can definitely self-teach to further understand music. Afterall, learning is a life-long process! "
Joel Ong, Vocal, Pop Piano & Guitar Student
" I have been a part of Hark Music for the past four years. I must say that it has changed a lot in these four years. I remembered the first time I went to Hark Music they only occupied the second floor. There wasn't even a first floor! And performances are held on the second floor, so everytime students came for lesson when there are performances, they feel very paiseh for interrupting the performances. But that was in the past.Hark Music has grown a lot since then...expanded to two storeys...introduced a cafe...then took away the café and *tadah* transformed it to the performing studio you see now. Well, Hark Music has come a long way since it first started. They have a blog now, more opportunities for students to display and cultivate their musical talents, more rooms for more classes etc. Hark Music is a good learning ground especially for beginners with no musical background. I hope it will continue to expand and reach out to all music lovers."
